The Real Estate Career Day (RECD) is an annual real estate event organized by the student association BOSS (Building Organisation Student Society). It typically attracts around 200 students studying real estate-related subjects from universities and colleges across the country. This career day takes place at the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment at Delft University of Technology.
The aim of the RECD is to connect companies with students. What sets this day apart is the wide diversity of students attending. There are both final-year bachelor students exploring their options and graduates actively seeking their first job. Additionally, the students come from various backgrounds related to the real estate sector, creating an ideal mix and great diversity.
The format of the day includes a wide range of activities: business cases, interactions, one-on-one conversations, and a company market where companies can showcase themselves to the students. On average, 30 real estate-related companies participate in the RECD, making it the largest national career event for students in the real estate field. In addition to interacting with companies, an opening session is organized where inspiring speakers can discuss the current state of the Dutch or international real estate market.
