Business Tour 1 – 13 & 14 November
On the 13th and 14th of November, BOSS kicked off the first Business Tour of the year. Two days filled with inspiring company visits, interactive case studies, and valuable insights into the world of real estate and development.
We began at BPD in Delft, where we worked in groups on a case study about a neighbourhood in The Hague. The focus was on feasibility and choosing suitable housing types for the area. Each group presented their proposal, after which a short discussion followed and a winning idea was chosen. We then had lunch at the office before travelling to Amsterdam.

At the Okura Hotel, we received a presentation from DEV_, followed by a second group case. Each participant was assigned a specific role and had to ensure that their interests were represented in the final building proposal, including financial considerations. After the presentations, we were given a short tour of a suite currently being redeveloped by DEV_. We ended the session with a drink and a small bite in the hotel’s top-floor bar.

In the evening, we checked into the hotel, got ready, and had dinner together at Proeflokaal van der Waal. The day ended with a few drinks at a nearby café.
The next morning, we had breakfast together and a bit of free time before heading to Roest Amsterdam in Oostenburg. There, Vorm gave a presentation about their projects, followed by a tour of the area with several of their recent developments. The architect of the site also joined to give additional context. The tour ended with a final drink at Roest.

This was the first Business Tour of the year, and we are looking forward to the next one!
