This year’s edition of the International Business Tour was a huge success! An intensive and inspiring journey that took our participants from the dynamic Zuidas to the historic charm of Porto.
Day 1: Business Insights in Amsterdam
The tour officially kicked off in the Zuidas at Goodman. After a warm welcome, we were treated to an in-depth presentation on the company’s strategy and gained exclusive insights into the various property projects currently under development. The morning concluded with a lunch.
In the afternoon, we travelled to Amsterdam-Noord for an impressive site visit to OPEN. Following the on-site tour, there was a presentation at their office in Amsterdam-Zuid, where we learnt more about their innovative project development. The day in the Netherlands concluded with some drinks at the rooftop of the building, after which the group headed to Schiphol for the flight to our international destination: Porto.
Days 2 & 3: Exploring Porto
In Porto, we stayed at The Social Hub, where a presentation and an extensive tour of the building were on the agenda the following morning. It was fascinating to experience their hybrid concept up close. For the rest of the day, everyone had the opportunity to explore the city of Porto and soak up its unique atmosphere.
The weekend was all about culture and local traditions:
Market visit: An exploration of Porto’s local markets.
River cruise: A relaxing boat trip on the Douro.
Port tasting: An unmissable experience to discover the region’s authentic flavours.
After a weekend full of new insights, networking opportunities and cultural highlights, the group flew back to Amsterdam on Sunday. We look back on an unforgettable trip that bridged the gap between real estate practice and international connections.
